AoE2 Patched and Expanded!

Here is the developer post for patch 3.0! (This includes several needed Ai tweaks as well as some graphics optimizations!)

 

Age of Empires II HD - The Forgotten is now out for AoE2. Honestly, I don't know what to feel. Obviously DLC is something we all want to go away. But previous hard-copy expansions like The Conquistadors were really good and worth the money.

 

You can easily go to the link for the full post, but here are the extra stuff you can now play around with:

 

Italians - Set sail to Venice and take the role as general in one of the Italian republics that emerged from the chaos after the collapse of the Roman Empire!
Indians - Put vast armies under your command, comprised of countless Camels and powerful Elephants.
Slavs - Even after the dissolution of the Mongolian Golden Horde, these icy planes of Eastern Europe still echo under the thundering hooves and countless boots of your soldiers.
Magyars - Lead the mighty Black Army over the Hungarian plains and command the fiercest cavalry forces that Europe has ever witnessed in the Middle Ages
Incas - Lead your armies along the shores of Lake Titicaca, defend your wealth and heritage from the invading Conquistadors and erect mighty structures to withstand the test of time.

People are complaining that this costs 9.99$ and you can assemble similar mods for free. Ultimately I'm wondering how the reviews will look; only then can they earn my wallet!

YES!!!! AoE 2 is such a good game this is pretty sweet

$10 isn't really that much, I'd be happy to throw my cash at it if I had time to play it. I loved the AoE games (until 3), I was so excited when I got a free copy in a box of cereal haha

woot! I designed the first and third scenarios for sforza. you'll find me in the credits.

Also, after opening up the game and playing the first scenario, I'm sad to say that the used the broken version that has a badly done opening cutscene. There shouldn't be as many pauses nor should the units take so long to arrive at the river. I have a version that has the opening working properly.

What's wrong with AoE III? It wasn't as good as AoE II, but it isn't as bad as people make it out to be. 

Personal preference really, they changed too much of it at once, felt like a completely different game.

I still like AoE3 more. I grew with AoE since the first game. however I found the 3rd part of the series more.
I will probably wait until  The forgotten drops in price a little bit before buying it.

I dont know why people are complaining about $10 the new simcity dlc is $30 which is bs after u spend $120

To me this is one of the most exciting things this year. I started playing this game when I was like 6 and I never stopped! Aoe 2 is by far my favorite game of all time
