Why so much hate on COD ?

Why everybody seems so eager to throw a rant at COD ? I agree that the past years COD hasnt been that good at all but isnt it a bit too early to launch an attack on Ghosts ? Maybe it will be bad but maybe it wont , Why so much hatred i just dont get it ... It's just a game after all . Btw the campaign is one of the best campaigns i've seen in COD .

I understand what you mean. I enjoyed the past CODs for what they were, just mindless shooting (I think that's what they are), but I would probably get bored really fast if I played it more than the 3-4 hours I did at a friends house.

But this is supposed to be NEXT-GEN, they said it would be different in a good way with a new engine and such. But it turns out it's the same game as before. And they ask 60 dollars for it again, with AGAIN buttloads of DLC to come probably.

That's why I think it deserves some of the hate it gets. Not all of it.

 

EDIT: just went on a random ghosts stream and asked "opinions on the game?" and even the streamers themselves said "the best advice is just don't buy it." and everyone in the chat was negative aswell

I'm sure the game will be good, but the COD community is one of the worst of any game. Ever.

It's the same every year, graphics are years behind and the multiplayer, compared to something like BF4 lacks a lot. It would be nice if COD wasn't out every year and focused only on money sucking, they put minimal effort and resources to making the game. If they just had 2 years for making a modern engine and actually made the game diffirently, with keeping the arcade gameplay that the series represents and what people love about it...

I don't have many problems with the game, I don't play it but I don't hate it. What I do hate is the COD community, that's the problem.

Since MW2 the game havn't changed the way that i want a game to change.

 

Also hackers is a huge problem on pc. Atleast it was in MW2. And when Developer dont seem to care i dont wont to throw money at them.

I think the pseudo-6gb RAM requirement is shameful. I don't think any developer should ever limit a game flat out like they did, let alone do it for an artificial requirement that is simply not true. From what I read on forums and articles, the game uses 2gb on maximum settings.

 

The only time it should refuse you of being allowed to play the game is if the computer is completely unable to play it like a DirectX 9 system trying to play a DirectX 10 or later.

I am not playing dumb bro i stop playing COD 2 years ago just because it got somewhat boring to me for all the known reasons but mostly because franchises like Battlefield really step up their game . That said i dont understand why you should continue to rant against them with every release they make before you even have some decent playing time on the game in order to be able to judge it. Seems pretty bias to me .... Even though i stop playing COD , i wont just put it on the black list and if they come up with a good title i will pick it up again.

hehe nice joke. COD is one of those few games that you dont even need to play to know it's the same thing over n over again. If you cant see it from the vids then you probably havent played mw2 or later cods
