I wanted to use my channel logo or name. The logo is still in the making. I did start looking for plotters but it seems like just having them printed for me will be significantly cheaper.

Ok for those you may want to use transfer film since they look to be quite thin lettering. What you would need to do is to cut the shape of the letters and peel off the surrounding areas that are not needed at that point you can use the transfer film to pick up the design for application.

This shows it quite well, they use a vinyl plotter so it doesn't cut through the i rial backing paper.

Okay this may sound like a really silly question, but I cant find anything on google as I'm unsure as to the official name of the stickers.

Basically I wanna go make some acrylic stuff for a mod. I want to paint said acrylic parts but leave an image open in the paint.

I've seen sone modders use trickers that had a film on the back obviously to protect the sticky residue, but it also had a clear film on the front that you only remove once the sticker(s) are in place as to allign say text properly in one go.

Sorry I can't tell you what they are called, but can someone tell me how I could make those custom myself and what I would need for it?

Thank you guys!

You mean vinyl decals or vinyl wrap the front paper or film is used to hold everything in position and gets peeled off when installed.

That front paper is a release or transfer paper or film depending who you get it from. If you want to cut a very complex desgin with multiple layers and colors your going to want to look into getting a design made and cut out on a vinyl plotter. Places like signage shops should be able to help you with all of that.

Yes it's possible to just cut it out and directly peel and place without transfer film. If it requires it then usually it's will be too complex to just cut out by hand, what design were you thinking?

Oh yea ofcourse.. lay it out and then pick it up with transfer tape.. all this type i was assuming they cut the vinyl while already on the transfertape for some reason, but that would work just fine!
