Traxxas slash body

lilwic

Just wondering if there were any dodge challenger or camaro bodies that would fit a slash.

Seems others have been here before and after much research have found all the Dodge bodies for the Slash are Rams and all the Charger bodies are for monster trucks unless you can find something else that floats your boat it looks like the self vacform route is the way to go.

Don't think this is really the type of forum you want, it is more of a Computer/gaming type forum.

Hobby electronics (in this case) mean electronics as a hobby rather than using electronics in a hobby

The Pro-Line Charger body fits the Slash with little modifications, remember seeing a few on the Traxxas forums years ago.  HPI makes/made a 1/10th scale Challenger body that could work.

You would probably have to mod a HPI or some other large body. HPI used to make this for the T-Maxx. I have seen Traxxas rigs that people have slapped HPI bodies on. Most of the time they are Monster trucks though.

Look around for HPI monster truck bodies that you like, they could fit the slash with some modification, it all depends. You'll probably just have to ream new body holes and trim around the tires. I use this for my 1/8 buggy bodies. Any small step bit will work to ream body holes, instead of those expensive, brand name body reamers.

Here is a HPI Savage with a Slash body

The big problem is companies don't make street car bodies for monster trucks very often.
