I just got out an old monitor and started seeing this

its from xplio(some old brand that was owned by staples) its a 1280x1024 that I have at 75hz

yeah, it's ghosting, you need some special people to get rid of it. play this on the problematic monitor and all should be fixed.

more seriously, yeah just a sub-par or old monitor as you said..
