Can't Connect to Printer

I have been trying to connect my desktop to my printer and it hasn't been able to find it. This happened with our old printer too.  I have been able to connect to it with my 2009 Macbook, just not my PC and i would like to be able to print something straight from my PC instead of having to email it to my laptop. Any suggestions?

make sure that the latest printer drivers are installed on your pc.  if they are and it still dosent work then re download them

By the time this gets answered and fixed you could've printed the email. Just for the record I think you should email it now and print it, then come back and check for answers.

I forgot to mention that i am trying to connect wirelessly, will installing drivers help that?

my house has 2 routers, one that's the isp one and one i bought - your laptop and the printer may be on different routers - happens all the time to me, my pc autoconnects to the isp router and i get hella confused

I only have 1 router but It does have a normal and a 5g connection. My PC's wifi card can't pick up 5g but I think my laptop can. Could that be an issue?

connect to the same one - so not the 5g one unless your printer is on the 5g one for some reason
