Hi all,

need some help/advice on building a budget gaming/streaming pc for my friend. I think it's fair to say I'm not new to this world but only familiar with the "latest and greatest" computer tech as I had a big budget for my own build, so was wondering if you could help me piece together something that would have been cutting edge for a while ago that would fall in to budget

need a whole system, pc = £400-£500

monitor = £100

all help is appreciated guys

Used components are your friend with such a low budget. I'm not sure what the used market looks like in your area but around here you can find a Dell or HP office desktop with a i5 4460 and 8GB of DDR3 for around $150 USD. A GTX 1050 ti low profile would be a simple install. A SSD and 8 more GB of RAM can be added later for a grand total of around $400 USD. Some great price to performance if you'd ask me.

Obviously the used market will be different in your area, but it's worth checking first.
