So I am planning a new build around the upcoming AMD Ryzen and VEGA platform for a hybrid video editing and gaming/streaming machine. I would really like to do a custom water cooling loop on it, something that I can start with the CPU and add potentially to the GPU later. I would really like to do a hard line build, as I have always done all in ones for water cooling. I would love any one who has actually had personal experience with both on if I should start with softline then go hardline, or if there is a good hardline kit that has the customization to add additional lines, if I chose to do so. Obviously beginner friendly kits are a plus.

As always and feedback is appreciated.

You should start with soft tubing if you've never done custom watercooling before.

It will still be $400+ even for soft tubing.

And you have used those systems right? I have seen kits for like $200 for CPU only, but want to know if those support addition.

If you want to do custom loop then buy individual parts, you want higher quality components if you are putting water inside a thousand dollar PC.

So you wouldn't recommend any kits then? Like buy pumps and etc, separately?

Yes, check out singularitycomputers on youtube to learn about what higher quality parts you should use.

Are you doing full cooling,or just ceartin componets?

CPU first, then potentially adding in GPU.
