How to fix red pixels?

Is there hope to fix these annoying red pixels on this laptop or should I just throw it away and buy a new one?

It was bought in 2013. It's already outside of the one year warranty period. So should I just take out the hard drive and have it disposed? Is there hope of fixing it?

you can go to ebay and find a screen and diy the repair.

I did flex the screen and it kinda works but it doesn't allow me to use it in a comfortable angle.

sounds like you just need to replace the cable
