Spacex is hosting their first ever Hyperloop competition in a bid to inspire innovation in the transportation industry.

They have a live-stream available on their site, link below, for you to view in the comfort of your own home.

They are going to be testing a few designs today in the vacuum chamber today.

imo, the hyperloop is impractical. It could work but it would rely on so many things (ie: political funding, people moving away from the car, the stars aligning etc). It might happen in our lifetimes but I'm sceptical it'll live up to expectations.
