Buying a new Graphic Card

Yesterday my graphic card decided to stop working properly so now I have to buy a new one (it lasted almost 5 years of daily usage), I've been looking for new one that could handle the next AAA games but I dont know if I would need to change anything else in my PC, so any recommendations are apreciated. I have no plans in playing in a higher resolution than 1920x1080 and I also have another monitor that would like to keep functional and it isn't the same resolution as the main one (I guess that means AMD).

• Graphic Card: Ati PCI Express - Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition OC 2GB GDDR5

really? that's surprising sapphire are normally at the top of the AMD GPU market performance wise.

Did you mean XFX RS? Because that isn't a great card. The GTR 8GB is the best 480

Also, "the MSI" could be 10-12 different cards. The Gaming X 8GB is the one you want.

Budget is around 300 euros (more if needed). I might go for the 480.

RX 480 if you care about DX12 performance (not that there are any decently functioning DX12 games out anyway)

GTX 1060 6GB in any other case. It's faster than the rx 480 8GB and probably cheaper. You don't need that last 2GB of vram.

€ 300? Get the XFX RX480 GTR. It's a monster overclocker.

 The 480 is 27.6 cm, it might fit the case but im not sure if it would fit in the motherboard. I dont know if it would not fit because of the sata connectors. You can also see my old graphic card that is 20 cm long (not connected anymore).
