I am having alot of problems with my pc.

To start it off, my computer froze, showed a blank red screen, and restarted when I was playing Overwatch.

Then when I got back to my computer, it crashed a couple minutes later with the error "memory fault". I booted my computer another time and it immediately showed the error "page fault in nonpaged area".

So after seeing those errors, I removed one of the ram sticks and then my PC started making the memory problem beep. I then moved the stick of ram (the one that was still in the pc) to another slot of the motherboard and it started working. Any ideas as to exactly what the problem here is?

board ram slot is faulty or memory is faulty

to rule out memory being faulty run memtest with the one working slot on both dimms

i have already used the memory diagnostics built into windows and it says my memory is fine, is it not accurate?

also, should I do it with each stick of ram? and how many passes do you recommend I run it for?

also I wanted to add that this has happened many times before. I just switch the ram up in different slots or just reseat them and they start working for a couple days. then the problems starts again

I'd say RMA the motherboard with whoever makes your board. RAM slots are faulty.

idk

Run the tool "memtest" over night just to make sure its not the RAM.
