Can anyone find what is wrong with the ASUS ROG GL551VW-DS51

Go to solution Solved by Kill3rblack,

I have one, works like a champ. But mine also has an I7 4770k and 16gb ram.

The only problem i have experienced is the lack of support especially from Asus. you can find the laptop on their support site by a carefully refined search, but other than that, it's pretty hidden.

This one is fine. But you should get the black plastic back ones. The metal silver backed ones are much better. But they also literally just released their 1050 versions. Then again why Asus. What's your budget, where are you located and how much are you getting that laptop for?

I'm a student and saw this laptop that fit my needs and more for the price of a celoron laptop. So my budget is around $300

Uhm... those sellers have ZERO feedback so buy with caution... those same laptops retail for over double that for new machines. If these truly are "like new" then something is fishy here.

It has a built-in optical drive? ^^

It looks too good to be true, and looks kinda shady yes.
Also, what is this writing? Danish? Viking? :D
