I have a H100i v2 and whist installing the Intel back pate onto my mobo one of the plastic screws broke off.

Is its safe to install it with only three screws supporting it?

Try contacting Corsair to see if they are able to get you a replacement if you don't have all 4 points will will apply uneven pressure and poor cooling.

You can use it short term fine, it's not going to blow up or anything, but I'd request a replacement as cooling won't be optimal given you won't be able to screw down in one corner.

The threaded portion is metal if you can get a the same nut and slightly longer bolt that would work.
