You will also need a 6-32 size drill bit.

Great. Thanks for the help

I'm in the process of a new setup, and I was thinking that the PS4 standard would look very blocky and outdated compared to the rest of my setup so I want to know if I can fit it into a case of some sort. I've had my eye on the corsair carbide spec alpha. Also I would like to do this to improve noise.

the ps4 once you remove the case you are left with a steal cage that you could put in another case but it really is not meant to be taken apart

You could try it but you would likely have to mod the case because I doubt the PS4 mobo is a standard ATX case. You would also need to find a way to power case fans so you can actually cool it.

YEs but you will have to drill custom holes

Will that be relatively straight forward or difficult to do?

Could I possibly take off the standard fan and use normal pc fans

Maybe. I don't know if it uses standard fan headers. I will really quick check ifixit's teardown. What model PS4 do you have.

if you take it apart first you could mark the holes but the ps4 essentially has a laptop mobo and may not een have mounting holes might be clipped to the case

Anywhere on the internet I can learn how and where to drill these holes and do everything safely and correctly?

Also would an ITX case be an option or is the mobo too big?

You can check ifixit for disassembly. The motherboard replacement guide should give you the info you need. As for the holes, line up the io with the hole in the back, and drill the holes

You will also need a 6-32 size drill bit.

Do you think this case would be Big enough though or not?

It should be. The PS4 is pretty small and this is an ATX case. You can check by looking at the dimensions of the ps4 mobo on the ifixit teardown to make sure they are smaller than that case.
