If your usb already has the autorun and ESD-USB label you should probably format the Flashdrive and re run the media creation tool .

When you are in the menu of creating the USB Stick, doesn't it ask you if you want to update the installation or skip it? Maybe it was only when doing the upgrade...

Just format the USB Stick and try it again.

You download the operating system image and than run this tool...on the tool you select your USB and the system image you downloaded. Than you select file system, and partition scheme and press start and wait that is it. You have the whole guide on their site...check it out you ll save yourself a lot of time and nerves using this

When I did this a while ago, I had to download the media twice because the first time it got to 50%, failed with an error and I also had ESD-USB with just autorun.

It was Avira Antivirus blocking autorun on USB sticks. When I turned the setting to off, the Media Creation tool was able to successfully create a working Windows 10 install media.

Do you have something blocking autorun?

When you have main Avira window open, press F8 to open Configuration. There you can find it.

In the menu Extras, no Configuration? Or then in configuration is there an 'Expert Mode'?
