APU and graphics cards

Go to solution Solved by Electronics Wizardy,

If your getting a graphics card, no reason to get a apu.

Id highly suggest something like a core i3 instead or pentium g4560. There much faster and about the same price.

(Btw if it sounds like I have no clue what I'm talking about, I'm new to PC) I was planning on getting an AMD A10-Series APU A10-7850K for my PC, but should I just get a CPU and a graphics card, APU and graphics card, or just stick with the APU, I was looking at MSI GAMING Radeon RX 480 GDDR5 4GB CrossFire VR Ready FinFET DirectX 12 Graphics Card (RX 480 ARMOR 4G OC)

Thank you! And is the MSI graphics card a good choice or should I go for something else? Do you have any recommendations? If you need to know some of the parts I have picked out, I have them on my profile.

That gpu looks fine, but we could help you more with the build if you gave the total budget and requirements.

My total budget is $200 at most for the cpu and graphics card but I would like to stay under that as best as I can, do you have a link where I can buy the pentium g4560, I can't find it on amazon and I don't know what websites are good for buying parts. Thank you.

do you already have a motherboard?

The pentium is brand new and will probably take a week or two before its in stores.
