4.2GHz is slow, I had my i5 6600K to 4.5GHz on hyper T4 on a z170A from asus. BTW those mobos should all be fine for light-mild OC. I like asus bio better.

i know but i plan to keep it as long as possible and when im near swapping cpu etc out i might get a watercooler and squeeze the last bit of life out of it maybe going to 4,6ghz

Either of the first two are fine.  They are virtually identical.  I personally like the look of the Asus board a little better, but the Sata ports on the MSI board are in a better position.

If you are gonna game, get a non-k i5, an lower tier mobo, and use the stock intel cooler. Use the extra money for graphics

Oh well in that case you are stuck with the graphics. My point still stands though, if your machine will be primarily a gaming rig, save the extra money and buy something else. OC will yield marginal FPS improvements in the single digits. Buy more games or an SSD. Unless you have an application that can leverage the extra CPU power, then go for it.

I would recommend the Cryorig H7 six days a week and twice on Sunday over the Hyper 212 Evo, btw .  The Hyper 212 cooler is way over hyped.  The H7 is quieter and easier to install.  Plus, it looks better.

As far as bios goes....Generally Asus is regarded as having the best, but for a 4.2ghz OC with a 6600k you won't need anything too fancy or advanced to get there.

Kaby lake is pretty much identical in IPC to skylake.

TBH, I would get a B250 or B150  mobo, and an i5 7500 or an i5 6500. There are several videos that show the extra cost is not worth the increment in clock speed for the 6600. In the end its still you decision. If you want to OC for whatever reason, then go for it. Just dont go water with any of the mobos you selected, they will hold you back in terms of stability at higher speeds.

kabllake and skylake share the same physical and electrical interface. As long as the mobo manufacturer releasses a new bios, you can run kabylake on 100 series mobos

If you get the non-k and don't overclock...you can get an H170 board.  Between the two here, I'd go with the Gigabyte for $20 less.

You need to double check if normal 1151 has BIOS update. Else you need B250/H270 or Z270

just did that, I noticed i did not explained myself as I intended

Asus Z170-A or nothing

Given the options he chose in the OP, I have feeling that is bit over budget for him.  If it isn't..then yes, that would be a very good board to go with.

Answer will vary depending on price/availability in your region.

Right now there's a good deal on z170E here, but perhaps consider a 270 series board if it's priced appropriately.

As for the difference between the boards in the OP, little to none except the first board has sata express (which doesn't mean anything really).
