Dj Controller and external soundcard

I have bought a dj controller and its uses its own audio output but in my system I use a external soundcard (scarlett 2i2) for my two speakers! When I go to use the dj controller it can only work with its own audio output because i need to use the headphone mix on the decks to mix tracks in! All i need to do is route outputs 1 and 2 from the decks into my soundcard but still keep the output 3 and 4 on the decks for the headphone mix! I could just plug the speakers into my computer but I dont have the right cables for it because it needs to go into a single 3.5mm jack and i have 2 1/4 jack plugs going into the back of my soundcard on for left and right.

So what's your issue, it seems you already know what you need to do. Using the direct monitoring option might allow you to not to need to use a daw to get the outputs from the 2i2.

 

An alternative would be to just connect the speakers to the controller directly.
