I went on Asus websites, I can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for if someone can help?

How many power phase does those 2 board have?

ROG STRIX Z270E

ROG Ix hero

?

Looks like both have 8 phases for the CPU. But be warned: not all power phases are created equal. There are stronger and weaker chips that a manufacturer can use in each chip. Either way Kaby Lake CPUs don't draw over 200W while OC'd unless you're trying to beat overclocking records or similar, so don't worry about that and get the best value motherboard (that would be, the cheapest that has the features you want).

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

Looks like 8 power phases but as mentioned in most cases the CPU will be the limiting factor and not the board's power delivery as they both are very strong.

EDIT: Ah sniped by Energycore! :P

Both have 8+2 power phases. 8 for CPU and 2 for the igpu.

But the hero uses better components suited for more extreme overclocking. Has more ocing features as well.

Strix layout looks very similar to previous gen z170-Pro.

i5 2400 | ASUS RTX 4090 TUF OC | Seasonic 1200W Prime Gold | WD Green 120gb | WD Blue 1tb | some ram | a random case
