I bought a membrane logitech g15 from a thrift store for 5$ but it has all sorts of hair and food and boogers and god knows whatelse caked on underneath the keys. Is there a way to remove the keys? I have already tried compressed air and got a lot out so its better but i am a clean freak and really want it to be as spotless as possible. So can you take the keys off? Or is that only on mechanical keyboards?

Yep, you can :)

Either get a key cap puller or just get something and wedge it under keys (while being gentle)  :P

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...
