its possible to run both cards at the same time but you cant use both

I'm well aware that it's possible to run both, I'm just wondering why he decided to do that, rather than, say, grabbing a higher end card that would perform better overall and draw less power than running two cards.

Hey! New SIgnature!

I'm supposedly a person on the Internet, but you'll never know if I'm human or not ;)

Why do you have an AMD and an Nvidia card?

Because I had a 270X but then I bought my 1060, so my 270X now does F@H full time.

And I haven't sold my 270X yet

And it looks kick ass

Unless you have modded the game to skip the splash screens, I don't see how loading times would be improved unless you have severe fragmentation. It is a wd blue afterall.. I play online but I don't see loading speeds anytime near yours. Mine goes max on 20MB/s. I'm running from a iSCSI drive though but I can peak at 10g. For online at least, it just takes everyone a lot of time to load..

  • 2 weeks later...

Hey guys bringing up an old thread and guess what, the 320 GB WD drive is SATA 3 Gbps (Sata 2) and its pulling 67 read 65 write. My Sandisk 120 GB SSD (Sata 3) gets 525 read 370 write. Both the SSD and the WD drive are plugged into the Sata 3 ports. When i got the drive i didnt even know that the drive was Sata 300 as it was used. Will raid 0 still help? It should double to 120 MB read/write and thats all i would need
