hey i am wondering if this would work to check my gpu specs. i currently do not have a computer with 2 6 pin connectors but have a normal pc with a 350 w psu and one 6 pin, i want to know if i can simply put my gpu into the computer without using it just to check its specs because i lost the part number sticker, i have a  EVGA gtx 570 idk if it is the 1.25 gb or 2.5 gb version.

You could take the cooler off and look. May even be able to check the solder points on the back to see if they are occupied.

If you can get the sustem to post with one then sure. Just to boot and check. But I doubt it will do that but no harm in trying.

Look for the serial number on the card, then google it. it usually works.

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.
