Ok so im having trouble buying a monitor, i like having a wide FOV but i cant decide if i want 3 27 inch or 3 24 inch monitors? they both have 1ms output and cost 300 but im wondering if theres any advantages of having smaller screens over bigger screens cause i kinda want the 3 27's

do you play lots of twitch based fps games like csgo? then go 24 - it's smaller and you can see less therefore it's easier to focus on

do you play lots of cinematic games etc? then go 27 - it's huge and cool and awesome if you can drive 3 monitors in one game

1080p looks gross on 27". get 27" if its 1440p or above

my dad has a 32" 1080p IPS monitor as his primary

$227 aint bad for it, and it doesn't look that bad. he sits a little further than usual away maybe that's why

idk

IMO I depends on how far you sit from your monitor. I actually use a 42" 1080 screen. I do however sit about 2 meters from it. Depending on your setup a 27" screen will be fine. If however you like to crowd up to your monitors you will notice some pixelation.

If we talk 1080p 27" vs 24" then the only difference is pixel density whoch results in overall sharpness of the image.

General rule is:

1080p 23-24"

1440p 27"

4K 32"

Then there are ultrawide monitors which wouod be a better option over triple setup when it comes to gaming. Atm Nvidia surround stretches the image on side monitors.

We are still waiting for Simultaneous Multi Projection to be implemented into games... (No image stretching).

PS. Bigger monitor doesnt meant more workarea. Resolution determins how much space u gonna have on your desktop.
