Reliable budget PSU?

Go to solution Solved by Guest,

I would get Seasinic s12ii 430b or 520b both at same price range

So I've always heard never to skimp out on your PSU, so I want to avoid doing that.

I have this budget build ($300) and the current PSU is the EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze. Is this a good PSU? If not any recommended PSU's under $50? Thanks!

I have a 600B and it works fine for me. Some people dont really like the bronze series, but I think its fine. There is however a small problem where the the power plug kept slipping out of the power supply, but it took me like 5 minutes to jam it in and its working fine now :)

For your system that PSU will be fine. Also get a better 120GB SSD. The V300 is pretty bad. The A-DATA SP550 can often be found for the same price.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
