You don't need that expensive SSD

Seasonic S12II usually cheaper

Do you really need an AURA mobo?

The SSD I already had so I forgot to say that, sorry :)

The motherboard is red and black by default which wouldn't look too good with my green/black theme, and it's not that much more where I live

Why is RAM so expensive now... I feel like it's gone up $30 on a 16GB kit in the past 8 months. Ridiculous man....

Your build though is fine other than, do you really need a 6700k? You could always lower the price by getting a  i5 6600k or 7600k unless you absolutely have to have an i7. The PSU needs to be changed. There are better quality units from both Seasonic and EVGA for a lower price. Might only save you like $10 but hey that $10 can buy you a snack for when you start installing Windows.

Those are my only suggestions.

Gaming Desktop - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus, 32GB Cosair Vengenace LP 3600mhz, EVGA RTX 3070 XC3 Ultra,  Sabrent Rocket 4 1TB NVME SSD, Crucial P3 4TB NVME SSD, 4TB Mass storage, EVGA 750W G2, NZXT H9 Flow

RAM is expensive yeah.

The thing is I'm wanting to stream and not only game as well as do video editing and lots of other multitasking stuff like photoshop and such, so the i7 seems to be my best option. If I only wanted to game I'd have chosen the 6600k.

Suggestions on the cheaper PSU? :D

This Seasonic Unit is a overall much better and reliable unit. It has 30 less watts but it's still plenty for your system. If you really want the extra wattage though there's the same unit but 100 more watts for $5 more on pcpartpicker.

The M.2 is cheaper where I live and I'd like to have a lot of SSD storage since I'm used to ssd from my Macbook Pro and I hate waiting xD

I know it might be a little overkill though :D

Are you sure I'll be fine in terms of wattage if I intend to overclock both CPU and GPU? I thought 550 was pushing it :o

Yes, pcpartpicker tells you that your pc will use about 400w, and pcpartpicker puts that as if the computer is under full load so at full load that system will use approximately 400w. 120w extra will be plenty for overclocking. Overclocking both you'll probably only use like 50w additional. If you really want the extra though wattage though this unit is only $5 more than the previous one I mentioned but it has 100w more. So in the end it would still save you $5 from the Corsair one and you're getting better quality overall.

Alright I didn't know the PCPartpicker was under load, and then I'd be fine. Thanks for your suggestion, I'll be using that one :D

Also, I'm thinking of doing a build log for when I get it, should I do it?

Best regards, Mikkel

I think you should do a build log, it'd be pretty cool to see what you come up with.

The SSD is fine, it's not the best considering it's not NVMe it'll have the same speeds as a Sata SSD but it's only like $20 more than a Sata SSD without taking up port for valuable mass storage drives. Also, what Kingston drive is faster than a Samsung 850 EVO? I know the Savage isn't and it's the best drive they have. My Sandisk SSD Plus is faster than most Kingston drives. Plus if he already has the SSD then why tell him to buy a new one and just waste more money?

Yeah the M.2 was actually cheaper (strange I know) where I live compared to the Sata. Also I've done hours of research on this watching endless of youtube videos so I think I got the 850 Evo right :D

You chose a good one, there is one better for the same price though. Mostly because it's NVMe and has an amazing sequential Read. It's write is the same as a 850EVO
