Lines across my screen

So while playing i get lines across my screen. All my drivers are up to date so i dont know what is wrong can someone help me. I am on laptop with Nvidia Geforce GT 820m.

Maybe the display is bad. I've had it happen to some TV's. They don't ever go away. They get worse most likely

I haven't found a way to fix it but maybe others have. Sorry.

Is there any way yo can connect another display to your laptop?  If you can, try gaming on that and see if you have the same problem. 

If you do have lines on the external display, it's the graphics card.  If you don't, it's the laptop's screen itself.
