Mobo Decisions

Go to solution Solved by JTPOTATO,

With a lot of PC parts it almost always comes down to personal preference built from what you want out of that specific part

I prefer an Asus motherboard due to its easy to use BIOS setup with it's one-click configs like OCing and RAIDing.

what CPU do you plan on putting in here?

what is your computer being used for?

do you require stuff like USB 3.1 and m.2?

the cheapest one with the features you need/want. dont over spend on motherboard, just get something not shit. im rolling with ASRock, they are cheap but they dont make bad stuff

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

"Here is some advice that might have gotten lost somewhere along the way in your life.

#1. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

#2. It's best to keep your mouth shut; and appear to be stupid, rather than open it and remove all doubt.

#3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place.

I'd say go with the cheapest one that looks the best to you in terms of aesthetics, as they're pretty much identical otherwise
