Took a vacation from work to try and fix a bad shoulder but, it's just gotten worse on vacation so I guess I can't blame the job, Think it has something to do with my pc and ergonomics. Anyway I am thinking of grabbing this https://www.amazon.com/AULA-SI-859-Adjustable-Backlight-Illuminated/dp/B01C09ZTK4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1484505550&sr=8-2-spons&keywords=gaming+keyboard&psc=1 i can get it for like $2 after amazon gfit cards. Any better options in that price range?

I got a Rosewill RGB80 for like $50 and it worked great for me for 2 years. I loved it until I upgraded to a Strafe RGB. Don't get a "gaming" keyboard that is simply membrane. Go mechanical.

I would just get any 10$ keyboard until you can afford something maybe a little higher quality

If ergonomics are an issue, maybe try a wrist rest?

I have a mechanical keyboard which I think is part of my current problem right now.  I kinda want a membrane keyboard. I have a couple keyboards lying around the k400 (not idea) and a microsoft ergonomic keyboard which is more for typing. The k400 might not be bad for wasd on my lap.

I'm thinking something like this would be more comfortable https://www.amazon.com/Redragon-Karura-Keyboard-Switchable-Backlight/dp/B00LSGKEC4/ref=sr_1_7?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1484506615&sr=1-7&keywords=gaming+keyboard than something with keys like the one i have now. Opinions?

I was using ASUS cerberus for quite some time and it's great keyboard for it's price. I paid only 50€ for new one, so if you are from US it should be even cheaper.

I actually just grabbed a used one of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HKEI4HU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 for about $30.   Looks pretty decent and a brand I've heard of granted I only heard of them because i had a shitty xbox 360 controller from them

who in hell would ever want to go with membrane? It's like typing on mashed potatoes.

Have you ever had tennis elbow, a sore shoulder, and sore fingers all at the same time?  I love computers but, they will be my downfall. A nice chicklet keyboard like that looks like it would be perfect and cause me to slow down a bit while typing which is exactly what I need right now. Plus I've never been a pc gamer before so I'm likely to hook up my xbox one controller for any games that support it. I'll probably just be using wasd for stuff like portal
