DDU issue, windows still installing driver

so, i installed ddu, and i try to wipe my drivers to install a new one, but even if ddu says that it set windows to diable the auto driver install, it still install a default driver upon restart... also, i have windows messages during ddu process about not being able to access something and admin stuff, like a bar in my screen i can only press ok on. then it disapear.

yes i am, i select the restart in safe mode option

you could just unplug the internet and manually install the desired driver, then put the internet back on-line

are the windows messages appearing during ddu process normal? do you have them too?

no, that's not normal

either your Windows install is fucked or .. it's fucked

 

you could try by creating a new user (with admin rights) and logging into that

maybe i did not install ddu properly? i unzipped it in a folder on my desktop, here's what's inside

yeah but i mean if i displace the .pdb file and move it to another folder or something it might not work properly right?

uhh well i don't know, it's my computer so i guess i already am? i can launch programms as admin and everything? maybe launch ddu as admin?

did'nt work, i still have the windows message about impossible to open this application, connect with another account message thing.

 

and windows still installed the default driver...
