Your CPU is holding you back. A LOT. Tell me what motherboard you have, and then I can give you a recommended cheap upgrade.

What kind of FPS do you get in those games? I know that can cause an issue, but I'm curious where you're at now.

What settings did u use?

yes ur cpu is obvious bottleneck but  u can get decent fps by lowering the settings.

on tomb raider I get about 40-45 fps but drops at 25-35 when im looking a big town for example and gta v is around 40-55 all the time.
in both games im using geforce experience's recommended settings

Yeah, I'd lean toward CPU and possibly even a mobo that's maybe even PCIe 2.0 x8 or something. Maybe see if you can find more on the mobo's PCIe slot data, though that might be hard.

A Z270 + 7600K would absolutely solve your problems, lol. In the mean time, try dropping everything in the game's visual settings, except for your native resolution, and see what FPS you can get that way.

That settings may vary, it depends on ur system.

try to use medium settings.

Ur cpu is holding back ur gpu a lot.

try to upgrade it.

If u dont have a lot of money u can try to look for a used cpu like Intel Core i7-2600.

So no overclocking. Hmmm. An i7 2600 like this would help.

Im kind of sick of this motherboard and cpu (its too old anyway) i might upgrade to 1151 and z270 in the next months cuz it needs money, considering I live in Greece too :)
