Pc turns off while playing graphic intensive games! HELP!!!

So quite a while ago my pc had an overheating issue and always turned off while playing games and other things like that. So i managed to get a Cooler Master Nepton 240m to cool my cpu. I thought this would have fixed my overheating issue and it did but my pc still turns off while playing certain games.

Specs:

CPU: AMD A8-6600K quad core
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 2GB
MotherBoard: F2A58M-HD2 FM2+
RAM: 8GB DDR3
PSU: 550w (Dont know which brand or anything else like that)

I think thats everything. Please help since i have had this issue for nearly the entire year and i just want to play games haha. All replies are much appreciated :)

Check the Gpu temperature too.

if ur gpu and cpu temp are good then it might be the psu.

what psu did u have? i hope its not some potato class psu.

im not really sure what psu i have, all i know is that its 550w. I have been recommended this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139147&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker, LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

but i want to check with other people first since i dont wanna spend that much on something and have it not work.

Ur problem are mainly caused by overheating so if ur component have a good temp.

then it might be the PSU that is my opinion.

could u just take a look at it? or try to find/borrow other psu if u have.

Yes that Corsair cxm grey unit is a good psu.

Well if thats the case then lets wait for other member to show up.

So i just came around to getting that psu but the VAT made the price go over £100 because im from the uk. Are there any cheaper psus that would still fix my issue? preferably around £50 ($60)

But plss make sure u have checked that is the PSU problem.

If the problem still persist when u change it pls dont blame me..

Its easier if u have a spare psu for troubleshooting.

Nope.

of course i wont blame you since you're just trying to help. Tbh i thought it was a psu problem but i still asked on a forum just to make sure
