Emulators are legal, and there are legal ways to obtain the games. I have a blast playing Mario Sunshine in 1440 on a GSYC monitor lol.

yeah, but who has a NES or anyway to dump the carts (or the carts themselves) in 2017 lmao.. with newer consoles its easy because they use disc-based storage.

There are ways. Oldschoolers like me usually have a old console lying around. There are specialized shops that not only sell the games but help you with the transfer. And the torrenting is Nintendo's failt. If they sold the games emulator ready they'd be racking it in, but they don't so used sales thrive.
