Cpu usage

Hi I have a gtx 1070 and a core i5 6600k. Right now what I can see from afterburner is 98-100% cpu usage is that normal or what's wrong? Using Windows 10 64bit

Is afterburner the only thing open or do you have tons of background applications on at the moment? Check task manager as well just in case if afterburner somehow messed up the readings from your CPU.

Seems your CPU is doing a lot of stuff. As above let's see what taskmaanger says is using all that CPU power. ANd with right now, what is that? idle, or during gaming?

Umm it may be a bit high but I think it's fine, if you go into task manager what are the main programs running in the background cpu-wise

When I press alt +tab and change come to see the task manager it shows 76% but when I come to game and full-screen it get to 98-100%

Yea but what other programs are in the task manager taking up alot of CPU usage.

It is only call of duty that uses  that amount of cpu

You are playing a game, you want your CPU usage to be high.

 

This is a total non-issue.

What is your cpu usage when your computer is idle? That's the one that will be indicative of problems.

I got it now is 2% I closed the game

How about you post some additional metrics so we're not in the dark. What is the concurrent framerate, is the game having any issues.

What settings are you running, is vsync on or not.

 

Single or multiplayer.
