Student Looking For A good Monitor

I am a Student in the UK, come September I am off to university meaning leaving home. Currently my setup runs with 1 monitor and a TV ive been using for basic use (facebook and work).

 

I want to move to either buying 2 of the same monitor or a wide screen monitor, though I am not sure what I am looking for.

 

I will be using it for gaming, content creation and game making (Programming, art design, 3D modelling and so on)

 

I have found the "LG 29UM68 29-Inch Class 21:9 UltraWide FHD IPS LED Monitor" and like the look of it, although Im not sure its the best for me. 

I like being able to play games on my first display whilst having other things on my second. I feel as though this would remove that from me (Because I do not think a second monitor would fit on my desk with this. Perhaps it will fit above)

 

Either way, Can you recommend some monitors that are good for students on a budget.
