My first build completed! But I wanna do it AGAIN.....

wcompton

So I just finished my first build and had a blast! So much so that I'd like to do it again at some point soon. The problem is: I don't need too! I already have my fresh system that is working great. What could I do as a non-professional builder to continue being consistent with building PCs? I know that in order to be good at something you need to do it consistently and I'd love to do that with building computers. Just don't know exactly how that would look. Any advise? What do ya'll think?

Offer to build a computer for friends and/or colleagues.

Buying technology is my second favourite thing to do. My favourite is spending others people's money on buying tech.

When in doubt, re-format.

Ask friends and relatives if they wanna join the PCMasterrace, invite them to look at your computer's innards while they're over, show them cool tricks like shorting the power on jumper and stuff like that.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

LOL, now as cool as we here may think that trick is, 90% of the uninitiated would find that mad scary and ask you to never touch their computer again.

That's why you do it on your own computer, tell them that it's perfectly safe, show them the computer outside the case (tell them about ESD), etc

Just get them interested in it so they ask you to build one for them
