Alienware 15 R3 wrist wrest problem?

Guest lilbman

The wrist rest does not go all the way down and is not flush with the chassis like the rest of it.  Also, it is uneven; the left side does not meet the surface it is on, like the right.  When you push down, you feel it touch the surface.  Yes, I've tested it on like 5 perfectly flat surfaces.

So, the problems are the wrist rest and the chassis thing.

Do I A) clamp it to the bottom of the laptop and see if I can bend it back or B) contact tech support and get them to send someone to my home to fix it?

Any suggestions on why the left side isn't evenly setting down on the surface like the right side and how to fix it?

I don't know where the battery is located in the chassis, but I can check.

at the bottom. Advice contact Alienware Dell. That is a VERY dangerous product now. There is a good chance that happened due to the battery.
