I am looking to buy a new a HTC Vive soon, and am in need of a new graphics card. The current card I have is a AMD Radeon R9 380. I am looking for a card that will be better than my current one, and will meet the specs for a Vive (although my current card does, I am looking for something better). I would prefer it to be between 200-400 USD, but will take all suggestions.

in the budget range the AMD RX 480 8GB and the GTX1060 6GB are the contenders for the 250-260 dollars range

 

step up abit and you get the AMD R9 Fury HBM GPU which retails for 259 dollars on NewEgg

 

higher up the bracket will be the GTX1070

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
