Quick Question about Heaven Benchmark

When testing the GPU Stability while seen how far I can Overclock my GPU through MSi Afterburner, does it matter what quality I set the Heaven quality or resolution to be or just to have it running is enough to for stability testing?

I would set it to extreme at your monitors native resolution, and let it run for 1 hour or until you fail the stress test. Another stress test (for stability and temps) is Furmark.

quality doesnt really matter, if you really wanna test stability then crank the settings and see what happens

Yeah, doesn't need to run well, just keep you gpu at 100% for an hour or two.

I must say I am a little dissapointed in order to reach full stability I had to downclock a little from the original OC I thought that was good enough, happens that AC 3 was not pushing the GPU to the 100 percent thus why it originally felt it was functional, but at least now I am fully stable, great [:

Yeah had to drop from 1.25mhz to 1.08 because of stability. You should try bumping up the power limit, my issue was hardware limitations, but its always a good idea to check.

Yes I set the Power limit to the maximum, in the end the OC was still more than decent but I can't deny that I felt a bit upset that the original one couldn't keep it stable, oh well better this way than having a game crash out of blue without saving right? [:
