nVidia driver issue

Go to solution Solved by Jesterhead,

I restarted my computer and then everything worked.

Completely done with the installation of the 1070 now as well and I had no problems.

Hello LTT forums!

I'm currently uninstalling the gpu drivers for my 970 so that I can upgrade to the 1070 I've bought but it seems like the uninstallation might be stuck. It has been "removing Miracast virtual audio" for about 3 minutes now, should I be worried? Is there something I need to or should do?

Thanks!

Use DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller).

But I've heard that that software can cause a lot of issues, is it really safe? Also, can I really download and use that now that I've already started to remove the drivers a different way?

Just use DDU..it is the best thing for uninstalling graphics drivers.
