Device manager having problems with unknown usb devices

I am having some weird problems with some drivers on Windows.  http://imgur.com/gvV0cbm I have tried updating the Generic USB Hub drivers by Right click > Browse > Pick from list > Next > Close.  After doing this to all of the hubs, there are still 3 unknown devices.  One is my arduino which I am having problems with (I assume this is the problem).  I don't know what the other two devices are.  Any other things I should try?

Have you tried USB port drivers from your motherboard's manufacture?

Ok, I am trying to install those but getting error 1500: another installation is in progress.  There is nothing else that I am installing right now so I don't know what could be causing this.

Try restarting your PC to end the other processes that might go on in the background that you can't see.

I have a wireless xbox 360 controller adapter that does that, have to right click on unknown device and manually instruct it to use the proper driver, might be an issue like that where it just can't automatically figure out the driver to use. also mobo manufacturer drivers should be used as previously mentioned and bios updates could have fixes for odd issues

Mobo drivers did not fix the issue.

identify which one is your arduino by disconnecting it and watching which one disappears, plug it back in and try manually directing it to the driver. Right click, select update driver, browse my computer for driver software and either select the driver location if it hasn't been installed on your computer before, or choose let me pick... and find the driver on your computer if it has. This will probably work unless there's a hardware issue

This is what I tried to do.  I found out that the Arduino is the one with device descriptor request failed and tried to add the drivers but Windows installs a different driver. http://imgur.com/a/0ao2X
