I'm in the market to buy a new mechanical gamepad. I want a blue keyboard to type with and put it under my desk, and a gamepad to game on (doesn't matter as long as it's mechanical) to be on top of my desk so I can game with. The orbweaver seems good, but I want to know if there's anything else besides it.

I dont think so. Everything else is membrane im afraid. Arent those just a waste of money, even if you're gaming? The keyboard does everything the gamepad does and more. And if you dont want a big keyboard get a TK keyboard?

Specs of my PC:

CPU: AMD FX 8350  Motherboard: Gigabyte 990XA UD3  GPU: Gigabyte GTX 770 Windforce 2GB  HDD: WD Green 2TB SSD:  Corsair Force GT 120GB SSD RAM: Corsair 8GB(2X4) PSU: CoolerMaster G650M

Well i have a g13 gamepad that i have been using for a long time and i must say every time i am forced to try a standard keyboard for gaming is a bummer.

The g13 is way more ergonomic and the keys are closer and slightly smaller compared to my cm storm quickfire tk.

also there are more buttons that are close to the thumb that are easy to access and easily distinguishable.

As my gaming tower is quite heavy i like to lan on my laptop and the g13 can be positioned next to it without me having to stretch my arms to far apart allowing me to have the laptop monitor closer to me and not take up so much space.

Also the size of it helps when packing for a lan.

Having a g13 mechanical edition would be totally awesome the orbweaver is not an option for me because the thumb buttons are fewer there is fewer keys in the main area that are also worse positioned in my opinion and on top of that it has no screen.(Screen not necessary but a nice bonus)
