I have a Radeon R7 240 and I have overclocked the GPU Clock to 1080Mhz and the Memory Clock to 2000mhz. I got the OC edition so cooling isn't a problem as my fans never need to go above 50%.

Any higher and games start to crash.

Is the a good overclock and what can I do to reach a higher overclock without crashes?

Would that damage the GPU, how much extra is safe?

Just in case you're new to it.

voltage goes up in VERY small increments. Don't try putting 2v through your GPU.

High temps will damage the GPU but more voltage causes electrical degrading over a very long period, with the only downside being your max OC will go down. If you're using it for gaming the GPU will be obsolete long before your GPU dies. (It's pretty much already obsolete for new games)

That's an F in the profile pic

No if you use Afterburner it's totally safe, you can only damage the GPU by downloading voltage mods.
