You can quote people like this to get their attention. They get a notification when you quote them.

You can also cut out the contents of longer posts to keep things easy to read for other users, like that. Obviously, this isn't a long post, but it's useful when you do have to quote one.

 

You can also tag users with '@' to draw their attention to a thread they haven't replied to, or just to get their attention in general. Like this- @Aereldor, @EzTech.

 

Make sure you read through the Community Standards (a set of Forum guidelines) here before you start posting.

Also, look for the appropriate subforum to post in before you start a thread. This keeps the forum organized, but it also helps you get the best answers. People who have extensive experience with CPUs will usually follow the entire CPU subforum, and people who are good with putting together PC builds will usually follow the 'New Builds and Planning' subforum. That means they get a notification every time a new thread is started, and they are likely to answer your query.

 

You can follow individual threads you're interested in or even entire subforums using the aforementioned 'follow' function, located in the top-right of the thread/subforum, right next to the 'recent topics' feed. I would recommend following the 'Hot Deals' subforum to get notified on the latest discount information posted there.
