Not sure how many people pay attention to EOC, but I notice that you guys now have over 100 active folders (106 as of the time of this posting)

http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/team_summary.php?s=&t=223518

Gratz on the achievement!

Even my team http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/team_summary.php?s=&t=40051, we haven't even hit 75 active folders (that I'm aware of), and it's been around since 2003 (although I've only been around F@H since 2010, so it's possible we've had more in the past).

So for a team that only been around for almost 4 months, that's pretty impressive and I can only see you guys going up from here!

Keep up the good work!

Thanks warmon! I keep an eye on things and we seem to hover about 50-75 day-to-day, but recently been a big spike. VERY nice to see.

It's only because of linus's shoutout on the stream :3

Interesting thing - I seem to have a LOT more completed WU's than anyone else. Wonder why.... Must be all those crap point ones I get that I just churn through. :)

I always get really high point ones... sucks for when I might have to power down my rig for a while, but when my rig is on, it does its best to finish them quick. I hope to get a 680 or 670 and have 2 gpu's folding 24/7... Shouldn't Pcie 3 at 8x be fine for current cards?

That be fine - most PCIe v2 when running SLI or XFire run a 8/8 without to much issues.

Just remember, for folding you don't need the bandwidth of a 8x or 16x - Have x1 to x16 adapters - so my GTX 560 running on a x1 slot via the adapter, gets normal scores. Course, I don't game on this. :)

if you are buying cards just to fold on them, 660ti seems to be the best bang for the buck(660ti gets 25k ppd vs 680 30k). you can buy a 660ti used for about $230-250.

on a side note wouldnt the 660ti be as good as a 670 due to having the same amont of cuda cores.

AAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!

If only I had a few TITANS... That would be nice haha. And you could always pull a Linus and dremel(spelling?) out the ends of the 1x slots and not buy pesky adapters...

I played around with BOINC last year and I started folding when Tiny Tom Logan mentioned it on his videos, folded for the OC3D team until Linus mentioned his team on one of his live streams. I think awareness is the key to getting new folders and gaining team members, get Linus to mention it more!

Welcome to the forums!

I agree. I fold when I can, which isn't very often but every little helps!
