Good $50 Case

Hey guys, my friend is building gaming pc and we need help picking a case. He does not know what case to get but I say Rosewill Challenger. My concern, does a msi 270x fit in a Rosewill Challenger? If so, we will go with that case. We are located in america so newegg and pcpartpicker links wold be much appreciated.

did a review of the 210, loved it, 220 is more of the same with a mesh front.

Dang you!

cooler master arn't all they cracked up to be (sorry guys but its the truth) corsair are better but while thier budget peripherals are good im guessing theyr 200 and 300 case are 50% quality and 50% name.

nobody gives nzxt a thought really (hence my supprise).

the bequiet dark rock pro 2 is a great, good looking, quality cooler...but nobody buys them :( 

the nzxt soruce 210 and 220 are more of the same, they have 19pin motherboard USB3 support for crying out loud and can mount top rads and have good cable managment and space, and a clean look, what more could you want? (not a fan of the phantom though)

Check the clearance section of your local PC dealers, that's where the best deals can be found for smaller things like cables, fans, coolers and cases. Got my H2 for $50 at NCIX's warehouse sale, and grabbed a 140mm Bitfenix Spectre today for $4.88.

Coolermaster HAF 912 good airflow and cable management 

back in 2009 yeah, just like the cooler master 690 ii..

..allot has changed and those HAF cases are getting old in design.

compared the the source 220

no USB3, no all black cables only 7 hard drive bays which require adaptors, "aquired taste" design wise. heavy (17 lb's to the 220's 14). no front 280mm rad support. and its $20 more expensive.

Yeah, I'm comparing, i think the source 210/220 (depending on taste) is probably the best all-round option.

I got one to do a review on last year and I was amazed at all the features it had for a case that was around £32gbp when my aerocool case (which competes with the haf x ill have you know) cost me £115.

I think anyone with that amount of cash to spend on a case that doesnt get one is probably making a mistake, if you want a window either get a dremel and learn to mod (good thing) or spend like £10 ($15) more and get the sharkoon t9, its pretty much the same with the added bonus of a side window and all optical bays (seriously who has 4 hard drives and 4 cd drives?) most people want 1 optical bay or none...in which case all opticals (with adaptors) are the best option (radiator anyone?) Yeah, I'm comparing, i think the source 210/220 (depending on taste) is probably the best all-round option.

I got one to do a review on last year and I was amazed at all the features it had for a case that was around £32gbp when my aerocool case (which competes with the haf x ill have you know) cost me £115.

I think anyone with that amount of cash to spend on a case that doesnt get one is probably making a mistake, if you want a window either get a dremel and learn to mod (good thing) or spend like £10 ($15) more and get the sharkoon t9, its pretty much the same with the added bonus of a side window and all optical bays (seriously who has 4 hard drives and 4 cd drives?) most people want 1 optical bay or none...in which case all opticals (with adaptors) are the best option (radiator anyone?) 330mm without a hard drive in the way (so a 6990 should be fine), 230 with a hard drive.

a r9-280x is about 11 inches long (depending on model) which is 275mm so yeah itll fit, put the hard drive in the bottom case slot and itll look nice and neat aswell
