My power 24 pin connector on my computer won't connect to my motherboard no click or anything I have checked for anything in the way of the pins before installing it is the right way as it had gotten this far and I can no longer take out the cable without using so much force that the motherboard starts to bend excessively

I'm the picture it looks like it is cliped in butbit is not

I have been told by other people so far I have seen 26 say there should not be a gap in that push until you hear a click,no click

Try trouble shooting other stuff like CPU, GPU power connector.

Whether your RAM, GPU has been Properly installed into their slots.

Whether you've connected the power/reset switches properly (+ve and -ve) etc...

And the connectors at the PSU

The power connector won't even come out of the motherboard for me to test

I have never messed with the power and reset switches at all and it has booted up fine before

Don't just try to pull the connector.

While pressing down on the upper part of the small clip on the connector. Slowly pull and slightly jiggle the connector as your pulling (Don't be harsh on it)

It will come out this way.

But I still highly doubt its your 24-pin connector causing the issue.

But you can give it a try

Mine doesn't make a click and doesn't go all the way in, it's still fine. That may not be the problem.

Do you have a modular PSU that you can get a new cable for?

GTX 3080 Ti ROG | Ryzen 5600X | MSI Tomahawk B550 | 32GB 3600MHz | Corsair 850e | HAF X | WD SN850X | Asus MG287Q 1440p 144Hz

Getting a new cable won't make a difference if it won't come out

oh, sorry I misunderstood it.

You could try wedging it out with a thin knife? or in fact just using a knife or some other instrument to cut off the latch/clip on the side.

It looks like the entire thing is bent downwards

So I got it out and this is interesting because it hooks up the the jumper and not the motherboard
