i5 6600k Not overclockeble on a msi h110 gaming

So i dont seem able to overclock my new bought i5 6600k on me new MSI H110 Gaming mother board.

The fuction are there but i cant change them its really annoying.

And i dont know why .

(Yes i know the risk of overclocking and yes i normaly know how to do it)

h110 doesnt support overclocking..

You need a z170 board...

you either select a non-k CPU with h110 board or get a z170 board with a K cpu

Yes the other h110 indeed do not support it but the h110 GAMING should support it

As has already been stated, the H110 motherboard you have doesn't support overclocking. I'd suggest you ask about any future upgrades/builds on here before you drop any cash on them to avoid this situation in the future.

Yea luckily i made my case future proof.

So replacing the motherboard should not be a prob

If it's new you can send the mobo back and get a proper one

Yeah, you should have done more Research.

It is well known that ONLY z170 boards can oc, h110 chipsets are the budget category, they have very few features.

Ultra is stupid. ALWAYS.
