if i install new cpu on my mobo, will i need to reinstall windows?

Not necessarily, the system will adjust itself to it.

No, you don't have to. You might need to reactive your windows license though

I upgraded the i3-6100 in my Clevo  laptop to an  i7-6700K.  I had  no issues with needing to reinstall or reactivate Windows 10 Pro.

Depends mostly on the chipset. If its same chipset, proably won't have any issues..
