Hey Guys!

I want to get some speakers for about 50€ for gaming/watching videos/listening to music. And since I don't really know much about audio products, I need your help. Should I get an amp and some bookshelf speakers or something like a 2.1 sound system? What would your recommend?

Thanks for your help!

What do you think about the Logitech Z333 or the Hercules XPS 2.1 bassboost @Dackzy?

I think no thanks. Logitech is low quality and the "subwoofers" that come with either of those two aren't really subwoofers.

I would still recommend buying used, there is nothing wrong with buying speakers used, it is not like the tech in speakers evolve very fast and they often have a long lifespand. Also a 2.0 setup can with no problem have more and better bass, than either of those 2.1 setups.

If you don't want to buy used, then I would recommend saving up another 50€ and get some Edifier Studio 1280T

Well I would start with looking at brands you have heard of before and start with only active speakers (one of them has a power input), since a passive speaker would need a amp and 50€ is a very small budget, so IMO active would make more sense. You could start with Edifier and Behringer they have generally had some decent budget systems, but remeber look up reviews and such.

the Logitech z333 don't look too bad with a more proper cabinet design, and a woofer and tweeter.

but sound, idk...

I would guess better than other Logitech, but again, all based on looks.
